Isn't it about... time!

It's always nice giving your child some one on one time. I don't do this often enough, but am trying.
I think it's important to do something they love, which is why we chose CARS.
Jackson loved choosing his cars, sand colors, stickers and decals.
It was a great way for us to spend time together, just the two of us!

parents in town

During my parents 17 day road trip they made a stop to see us. We spent 4 fun days together! The kids loved having all the attention, going to the park, eating out, swimming, surprise presents, and more. It was a special treat going out with my parents and one of my dad's clients to an amazing restaurant. (I even had my first $40 steak....worth it!) And with the temple so close, my parents babysat so Tony and I could go.

Sadly....this is a first, but I forgot to take pictures! Memories will have to do.

country livin'

We spent the day with Tony's grandparents. They are two of the most loving, sincere, amazing people.
Gram raises beautiful labs and gramps is a big horse lover. In fact thats all he talked about, while we were there one of his horses won his first race in CA. We were so happy for him.
They live....lets say....in the middle of nowhere, so this was my first time to their home.
So glad we made the trip, the kids loved it, gram and gramps loved it, and Tony's allergies loved it. (not)
The kids warmed right up as soon as gram offered them a popsicle and let them sit next to gramp.

The dogs were getting all the attention, so Kensi decided to have her little pouting session in the kennel to see if anyone would notice...drama girl.

If you've spent time with Jackson you know he loves animals. He was in heaven today and couldn't get enough.

Tony and I really cherish days like this. Our children are lucky to know their great-grandparents, and visit Fallon.

Monday, August 2

One minute the kids are being angels.... next minute could be anything.
I thought I would let them watch a cartoon while I grab a little zzzzz.

20 minutes later....
Jackson comes running into the room.
SO excited to show me the SNOW that was outside.
I was a little confused since last time I checked it was 90 degrees.

OOOHHH!!! The snow was the padding from the couch cushions that they completely TORE APART and destroyed!
I thought those terrible two's were winding down....think again Abby!

Hyde Reunion

Our 1st Annual Hyde Reunion was a great one! Spent the weekend at a lake in Utah, had lots of great food, grandma time with crafts galore, played games and more games, testimony meeting, minute to win it games, fireworks and more!
So glad all of us could make it (minus 3) and make some great memories.
