PINCH ME PLEASE. Never would I have guessed that we'd have visitors come by during the summer. But my family never dissapoints, as we spent the last few days together having such a wonderful time. Ali has been away since January in Jerusalem so it was great to finally see her beautiful self. She was surprised at how much the kids had changed. Thank you mom and dad for the day in Seattle, the mariners game, lots of shopping, great food, and helping out with the kids. After, my family spent two nights at our place and saw a little of our day to day living.

Ali hadnt seen Kensington in over 6 months. It was a sweet reunion.

Thank you Dad, Mom and Ali for making the visit out to WASHINGTON!!! We had been looking forward to it since April. We had such a great time, and even though it went by WAY too fast, we made lots of great memories! Jackson and Kensington loved having you drool over them, spoil them, play, swim, and adore them! We love you and cant wait to see you soon!

It's safe to say

that Father's Day was a success this year! It was great spending all day with Tony, him playing with the kids outside, bbq-ing, playing catch, and just being together. We surprised our dad with his very own personalized Jones Soda from Jackson, nice cards, a candy bouquet, and cufflinks.

We also splurged and got this beauty for Fathers Day! I was WAY more extatic than Tony, but I know he'll appreciate the hundreds of photos one day.

Its amazing the difference in quality of my pictures now. I had a ball shooting Jackson throughout the day!

Happy Father's Day babe!

Although Jackson is getting a little too close and personal with his tongue, this is one of my favorite video clips of the kids laughing.

art project.

This finger paint is super fun. I found it in the $1 section at Target, and it has been a great summer activity for Jackson.

I think he's watched me paint mine and Kensi's toes a few too many times.

The finished picture.

We had a little accident over the weekend, Jack face planted on the pavement. As you can tell, his nose hit bottom first!

weekend fun

We had cousins in town for the weekend. Kalli and Ti came to visit Justy and we had lots of fun together.

Lots of pool time!

Jackson is loving the water and getting very very comfortable (and daring)

And our office bbq is always a treat. hamburgers, dogs, steak, ribs, and chicken filled our tummies.

Tony took Jackson to the new Pixar UP movie while I got a break and went out with the girls to Olive Garden.

the "sunday" bag...

My darling bag comes out of the closet every Sunday full with stuff (distractions for Jackson to help keep him quiet) but for some reason it isnt working too well. Those that attend church with me know quite well that my son doesnt stay put. He wants to be where all the other kids are, or doing what they are doing.
I bring snacks, crayons, books, bottles, finger paints, etc. to hopefully distract him long enough to make it through sacrament. Well, its not working. So please anyone, tell me your great advice on how to keep my child sitting down for longer than 10 minutes. What do you do? What do your kids like?
