Hyde Reunion

Our 1st Annual Hyde Reunion was a great one! Spent the weekend at a lake in Utah, had lots of great food, grandma time with crafts galore, played games and more games, testimony meeting, minute to win it games, fireworks and more!
So glad all of us could make it (minus 3) and make some great memories.

little princess

I remember growing up and having my mom put my hair in foam curlers for church/dance recitals. I figured Kensi's hair was long enough, so we gave it a try.

I loved how her hair turned out! She even kept them in for a whole hour.
She's got a head full of thick hair just like her mommy.

Kensi finished her look with some lip gloss!

TWO things

that make me excited about getting ready in the morning.
1. a.m.a.z.i.n.g. mascara that actually makes my eyelashes look long
2. the yummiest smell, I could eat it

Try them both, you won't be disappointed.

spending time outdoors

I joined the boys in Lake Tahoe for a 7 hour white water river rafting trip. It was very exciting, and we hit some huge class 3 rapids. Everyone had a blast and enjoyed the outdoors for the day.

We jumped in countless times to cool off.

We did some hiking and cliff jumping.

Loved spending the whole day with T.

family time

There's nothing better than family. And even after going years without seeing a few, the reunion is always sweet.
It was fun to meet cousins and visit Fallon for the first time.

Thursday, July 15

The temperature reached 103 degrees today so I opted to stay inside all day. I had to get creative with the little that we have... so, I decided we would try Chuck E Cheese for the first time. The kids were in heaven, every ride and game was perfect for their age. Kensington's favorite part was inserting in every token by herself.

And now for the fun part.
...
...
... choosing your PRIZE!

Kensi had to have two things from the glass case: sugar, a sucker (of course) and a purple ring (another, of course) she was tickled!

And you can probably guess what we spent a MAJORITY of the tickets on? A car. surprisingly.

Overall it was a great fun filled day!

crack of dawn

Tony has taken full advantage of living close to the ocean. His alarm goes off at 4:15 am and he heads to the water to get the best waves. It's been fun to watch him with this new hobby, and we'll take in as much time by the ocean as possible!

Red White and Blue

Our celebrating started on Saturday with lots of activities.
Swimming. Giants game. Fireworks. Celebrating.
Kensi was stylish, and got all the looks from other 2 yr. olds!

Played like kids.

Sang some Y.M.C.A ....

Ended the night with some awesome fireworks! It was the first year that the kids really got into it.

Happy Fourth.
