sunday drive

I drove the kiddos up to the temple yesterday. On our drive I did my best to explain to a 2 and 4 year old the significance of the temple, and that one day they would be married inside.
Kensi was more excited than I could have imagined. In her mind I'm sure she was picturing a princess dress and feeling beautiful. She was the first one out of the car....

Colton was in the car sleeping while we were walking around the Temple grounds. So here is a recent picture of him being adorable! Outside in his bumbo enjoying a summer evening.

missing daddy

Although we're hundreds of miles apart Tony is still managing to have a great time. This weekend he went Bear hunting with his brother Regge, and one of his best friends Sam who happens to live just 5 minutes away from them. They didn't know he lived there until they ran into him at church. Small world. They had a great weekend together camping, hunting, and just having "boy time."

Before heading back to Rexburg the family got together one last time. This time it was outdoors and so much fun. We went to a reservior out in Herriman and spent the afternoon in the heat.
The grandkids had a ball playing in the sand and testing the cold water. Tony impressed us by swimming from one end to the other. :) It's always fun being with one another.
